🥫 Hello Tin Casters!
We’ve heard the concerns about why there aren’t newer things and updates on Tin Can when we said we were back, we’re here to address it.
As the “We Are Back!” update suggested, we have simplified Tin Can to almost a skeletal level for Tin Casters to still connect and share their stories creatively.
This was made so that:
a) the Tin Can community can have somewhere to share their stories as before
b) to continue socializing with past Tin Can Friends
c) to continue communicating with users and hear suggestions and feedback
We’re considering all these and incorporating that into the Tin Can in development.
In short, the upcoming updates will be small updates on glitches and tweaks. Some bigger updates like audio quality and such may come into production earlier, but the bigger bulk of better features and systems are still in development. The New (smaller) Team has only been working on this for 2 months and we’re developing this from the ground up to ensure none of the problems from the past 2 years are reflected on the newer Tin Can App. These 2 months, we’ve been working seamlessly on the new app’s audio streaming quality which we believe will be a big surprise to all the audio creators!
We will share more of the roadwork map when they are made more concrete like better audio quality, plans for a better user monetization system, user interaction gamification incentives, etc.
